I feel like I'm struggling with the whole concept of the official outcome of it. After reading some of the comments from my presentation, I feel that I am still not getting the concept of what a webquest truly is. I will be changing it from a whole group webquest to a more individual or small group webquest. I do remember thinking back from my educational classes. The teacher explained a webquest but I don't think I still got the idea of it. I wish I would have done one either in my educational class or when I was in my graphic design classes. I am learning more about using some of the tools from the other class to help give my webquest flexibility for all to use.
As far as using Kompozer for my webquest, I like how it is coming together. The only draw back is that I still have to rely on some of the html codes to make sure everything is working properly. I will be happy to see the final outcome and will try to test it with my students.
I see webquests as interactive tasks that students complete. There is some final product students can be proud of creating or completing. I had to keep thinking back to the ADDIE model of design with my webquest. That is the format that all webquests should be based on. I feel that webquests should be done online or have some online interaction.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to see your webquest as I believe you are the only one who created it from HTML code...more power to you!
