Can we say, del.icio.us?

I have had co-worker get lost in her favorites list last year.  She wanted to find a website on her favorites list and could not find it, but it was there.  Now I can tell her about a website that can save her favorite websites and it is simple to find what she is looking for.  I will be using the delicious website to save all the cool sites we have been discovering this semester.  The I already added one site to it.  I will be telling my co-workers that they can go to my delicious site and access all of my sites without having to ask me about a web address they want their students to work on.  My delicious site is del.icio.us/abooe.  I will be putting more sites that I have discovered to check it out continously.

  1. That is a great idea to create a website through delicious for others to use as a resource. I liked that feature, as well, that you could access those favorites from anywhere. And, it's so easy to use. I'm sure your co teachers will appreciate it. You could use if for your students, as well.

  2. Sharing sites with others you know is so awesome via delicious... collaboration of bookmarks in addition to everything else you can collaborate on via the web! You have reminded me to do a blog about delicious with screencasts to teach some of my teacher friends in Louisiana about it... of course, I have a few people I know that use diigo, so maybe I will have to check that out and compare as well.
As far as favorites and bookmarking, my husband, the computer software programmer guy, was actually looking for a way to save bookmarks on his various pages he finds to help him with coding... and yes little ol ME taught him about delicious! Yea Itec classes! :)
